FIRST LEGO League 2019

The pupils of the robotics team «Lledó Bots» of Agora Lledó International School have been proclaimed runners-up in the autonomic phase of the FIRST LEGO League Spain, in its 13th edition, held at the Alcoy Campus of the Universitat Politècnica, València.

The team presented a project related to the INTO ORBIT Challenge on how to protect ships against meteoroid impacts in space, as well as the creation of a large robot to solve real world problems, thus working both research and programming. To do this, they contacted space professionals and joined all their ideas to get to develop this proposal that has led them to achieve second prize.

In this competition, students have learned to improve as people through the values that teamwork brings and have developed their motivation, creativity and effectiveness. Combining each of their talents, they have come much further than expected and we can see them in the Grand National Final to be held in Tenerife on 23rd and 24th of March.
