Record number of students

On 5 September Agora Lledó International School reopened its doors for the start of the new school year. This year we welcomed 135 new students throughout all stages of the curriculum, bringing our total pupil numbers to almost 900, the highest number of students that we have ever had on roll.

At Agora Lledó a wide range of new and exciting educational initiatives have been introduced: we will be the first school in the Valencian Community to teach Speech and Drama as part of the mainstream curriculum at secondary level, and we believe that these subjects play an invaluable role in preparing our students to take their places within the international community. We are also introducing courses certified by the Professional Academy of Music into the curriculum, making us the first school in the Castellon region to offer this level of tuition in music.

This year Agora Lledó International School is introducing the International Baccalaureate’s® (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) throughout the second year of Nursery and onward into the Primary stage. Access to the PYP for our junior pupils provides a strong foundation for the IB’s Diploma Programme that already forms a highly successful part of our curricula at secondary and senior levels (Bachillerato).  The introduction of the Primary Years Programme ensures our continued commitment to progress and excellence, streamlining and consolidating our education programme.
