The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers a curriculum that is universally accepted by higher education institutions throughout the world. The programme delivers broad-based, academically demanding courses for students, who are guided along this journey by highly qualified, professional teachers working within an innovative educational framework. The IB qualification is welcomed by the world’s most prestigious universities.
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a forward-thinking educational model that focuses on developing key competences and helping students to work towards achieving academic, personal and professional success within an international context. Students are encouraged to think independently and to be self-motivated in their learning. Learning in different languages helps pupils to develop greater cultural awareness and enables them to relate to others in an increasingly globalised and constantly changing world.
Agora Lledó International School was the first school in Castellón authorised to deliver the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) at Post 16 level, and over 150 students have now graduated from the programme. We are currently the first school in the province to be accepted as an applicant school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). As an IB World School we have created a pro-active, innovative and reflective learning environment and we are constantly striving to improve; our mission is to educate young people who are committed to improving their own futures, and the future of the world around them.
Learning at Agora Lledó International School is characterised by innovative teaching strategies, high academic performance and personalised attention to the specific needs of each of the pupils under our care. By employing a range of teaching and learning strategies, our students are encouraged to take control of their learning, to develop a capacity for independent and analytical thought and to use their natural talents and aptitudes to the full.Find out more
