We have programmes that are adapted to the various realities and needs of the students. Each one of the stages at our international school fosters values on an academic and personal level, providing the tools necessary for success in future educational and professional stages.

IB World School

Agora Lledó International School is a recognised IB World School. When students reach Baccalaureate, they can choose to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Students who follow this programme finish their university studies in the specified time period to a greater extent than other students, they are better prepared for university, specifically regarding research tasks and are more able to cope with the demanding workloads and time management challenges.

Key Stages

Preschool is the basis for all the educational process. It is the time when foundations are laid. During this stage, the children start their development (emotional, physical, social and cognitive) and an early stimulation allows the brain cell connections to multiply. The stage is split into two cycles: the first cycle (for 1 and 2 year-olds), where free play is at the heart of the stimulation; the second cycle (from 3 to 5 years old) is when the English and Spanish bilingual education properly begins.

At this stage, the children hone their personality and learn skills and knowledge related to oral expression and comprehension, reading, writing, and sums. They also develop social skills, work and study habits, artistic feeling, creativity and emotion. This all helps them to succeed both at other educational stages as well as later in their lives. The four fundamental pillars of Primary Education at our international school are: the bilingual programme, (50% of subjects taught in English), the introduction of German, Music (4 class hours per week) and Sport (physical education and water sports).

We offer a broad and demanding curriculum, focused on different learning competencies, in which pupils gain not only a good command of the fundamental skills, they also gain an all-round knowledge which stimulates their critical, analytical and rational thinking. We take into account the various needs of our pupils at this age, as well as the range of interests they have when considering their future. By giving importance to the diversity among the students, we seek the personal development of each one of them by giving them individual attention according to their needs.

Spanish Baccalaureate

The majority of our pupils who decide to study the Baccalaureate have made up their minds to go to university. These two years involve a great deal of theoretical content, and it is important to follow each pupil’s academic and emotional progress closely to ensure that they reach their full potential. The school’s  aims during this stage are double: one the one hand, we offer pupils a high academic level to help them achieve the best possible results in their University Entrance Exams (PAU), and, on the other, to shape people able to successfully face the high demands of university .
